Contemporary life has been defined by the creation and
dissemination of materials and technologies. And although I love it, I find
it harsh and unforgiving. Life is a juxtaposition between utopia and
dystopia.
Life, Death and that moment in-between comments upon this world. It is
sculpture, collection, exhibition and performance; a harsh black monolithic
machine, designed to comment on the life we live. Born from an interest in
consumption this work allows us to explore our personal psychology with
relevance to objects and capitalism.
Pots shatter. Born anew. We see ourselves.
